So, you're ready to buy a home but don't know where to begin?

At SouthernMH we will take the pain out of the mobile home buying process!

1. Home Consultation - The first step in buying a mobile home is identifying your needs. We will look at your home specifications needed. How many bedrooms do you want? How many bathrooms? How much square footage? Singlewide or Doublewide? We will ask you about where you are putting the home. Do you own land already, are you putting it in a mobile home park, do you need help locating a place to put the home? From those questions we will formulate a recommendation to meet your needs and budget.
2. Financing Options - Speaking of budget, how are you going to pay for the home? If you're buying with cash, then it's pretty simple. But what if you need financing? What if you don't have credit or have bad credit? We have solutions for many needs and can also point you in the right direction to home ownership if you are unable to buy today.
3. Closing - So you've picked out a home, found out how you are going to pay for it. What's next? Now you are ready to sign the paperwork that records you as the new owner of your home. This may consist of state documents, lender documents, and title work. Depending on if you are buying land or not, we may do all of this at our office or we may close at a title company.
4. Post Closing - After you have signed paperwork, it is time for the hard work to begin. Depending on the services you signed up for, this may include site preparation (clearing trees, bringing dirt in, driveway), delivering your home, hooking up utilties, trimming out the home, AC, Skirting, Decks.
5. Move - In - A majority of what SouthernMH was contracted for is done by now, you are ready to move in to your home!
